Heli Hiking Mt. Cook

I would go as far as to say that our helicopter flight to Tasman Glacier in Mt. Cook National Park was the highlight of my life. Absolutely epic, in the true and appropriate meaning of the word. Definitely ‘splurge’ worthy. And because the pictures don’t require much explanation. I’ll provide you with a limerick instead:

We arrived the night before with the peaks out of sight.

We feared the next day the circumstances wouldn’t be right.

When we awoke to the sun, we knew we’d be in for some fun,

And the mountains were beckoning our flight.
